JASON PEERS FCSI - CEO

Jason is a seasoned professional, with experience in leadership roles across a wide range of sectors and emerging markets. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience in financial services and natural resource sectors. Jason has enjoyed senior roles as a commercial and investment banker, a strategic consultant, and more recently in leadership roles within operating companies. He has a well-establish track record of creating and managing strong stakeholder engagement with C Suite and Board. Throughout his 35-year career, Jason has also been intimately involved with the built environment, construction, building materials, and housing sectors. He has acted as a commercial banker to a wide range of companies in these sectors and more recently as a financial advisor and strategic consultant.

JASON WRIGHT MCIOB- COO

Jason Wright has extensive knowledge relating to the built environment, with over 30-years of experience as operational management of large-scale corporations, including at C suite and Board, and having worked as a contractor, client, and consultant, he has owned businesses of his own. Jason has a career of major projects, international construction, and property development, with particular-domain expertise in emerging markets, mega projects, healthcare, hospitality, and exceptional high-quality fit-out. Recently, Jason has undertaken director roles for several legal and consultancy businesses; consulting on the built environment, industrial, and construction-related matters. Undertaking consultancy for dispute avoidance, non-contentious and business-project restructuring.

SHAHIN MANSURI - INVESTMENT DIRECTOR

Shahin graduated in 2000 with a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from Said Business School, Oxford University. In 1998 he completed a Master's degree in accounting, economics, and finance from Pune University in India. Shahin began his career with the famous PricewaterhouseCoopers, spending three years in the Audit and Transaction Support Group. During this period, he worked on several due diligence and corporate finance deals in various industry-related sectors. Shahin joined the International Team of HSBC Investment Banking in London, acting as a team member on corporate finance transactions in Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. He has been a key member of the origination and execution team on several transactions completed in the consumer, utilities, energy, real estate, renewables, technology, tobacco, and healthcare sectors. Further expertise in executing transactions in various product areas including privatizations, mergers and acquisitions, fundraising, structured finance, private placement, capital markets, restructuring, and trade sales.

TIM HOLDER FCA

HEAD OF NATURAL RESOURCES

Based in Zürich Tim, an economics graduate qualified chartered accountant and a highly accomplished investment banker, has 30+ years of corporate and project finance experience. He has considerable experience in cross-border and intra-regional mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity raisings, private equity, corporate restructurings, and offset.  He has spearheaded a series of complex project financings in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, and Lebanon, many of which were in the natural resources sector.  Tim has advised the government of the United Arab Emirates on the adoption of public-private partnerships in sectors including healthcare and education, and privatization and government advisory assignments in Iraq. With 30+ years in Saudi Arabia working with and being a long-standing committee member of the Saudi-British Economic Offset Program, Tim has originated and executed multibillion-dollar inward investment in many industry sectors. He established the regional presence of Close Brothers in Bahrain, became the co-founder of MerchantBridge, and held senior positions with BDA Partners and Taylor-DeJongh.

TYLA M'CRYSTAL BA LLB

LEGAL COMPLIANCE

AND ANALYST

Tyla has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Law, majoring in Criminology. Tyla also has a Bachelor of Law degree, where during her legal degree she focused on environmental, private international, and international humanitarian laws. Tyla’s dissertation focused on the issues in international environmental law. She attended the Hague Academy for International Law, to further develop her learning about Public and Private International Law. Tyla excels in reviewing, drafting, and providing guidance on legal documents, managing teams, and projects, and is a research analyst.

TOM SOWLER

SENIOR ADVISOR

Tom, a co-founder of London-based Adsmith Digital, graduated from the University of Newcastle, having studied Business & Economics. He worked in private client stockbroking in London before moving to Killik & Co's office in Dubai. Tom then worked for the Dubai-based Dutco Group, as a senior financial analyst, where his various roles included projects based on natural resources, healthcare, hospitality, and construction. Tom has direct entrepreneurial experience in food, hospitality, and digital marketing via private investments.

REBECCA SOWLER

ITC MANAGER

Rebecca has 15+ years of personal assistant experience, with secretarial qualifications from Queens Secretarial School in London. She was the personal assistant to a large commercial real estate company, and when she entered the media sector, Rebecca became a personal assistant to one of the directors. Rebecca has worked in Dubai as a human resources assistant and became the executive personal assistant to the CEO and five other directors of Aon Hewitt Middle East.

SARAH THOMAS FCCA UAECA

 FINANCE DIRECTOR

Sarah has 15+ years of experience in the field of audits, accounts, and consultancy. She has assisted scores of companies to set up their finance functions and mentored many company start-ups. Well-experienced in financial controls crucial to business Sarah has skills in streamlining finance and accounting department operations. Sarah is an effective cross-functional communicator who easily interfaces with various profiles of team members, vendors and customers.

IAN PLUNKETT BA FCA

SENIOR ADVISOR

Ian, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants England and Wales, founder, and CEO of MagicDust, a boutique investment and advisory company and a key strategic alliance partner to Jasper Consult.  A former senior partner at PwC, Ian led the private business discipline in the North of England until early 2020.  He led PwCs Assurance business in Abu Dhabi until 2015 and was Senior Partner for BDO, in Abu Dhabi.  Ian is an Arabic speaker and has acted as global relationship partner in the UAE for key energy sector groups, including TAQA and ADNOC.   Between 2005 and 2008, Ian was the named Fiscal Auditor for the Supreme Petroleum Council of Abu Dhabi. Ian is a main board member and Audit Committee Chairman at Humber Local Enterprise Partnership, a Non-Executive director of Alton Cars and a consultant board advisor for Zenith Vehicles. Ian has domain expertise in automotive, building products, food and beverage, food service, transport, and logistics as well as the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries.

SIMON MANN

SENIOR ADVISOR

Simon is an expert in strategy, risk, and change and has delivered high-profile programs globally.  An experienced consultant and former CEO, Simon focuses on change program leadership, management development, and performance improvement to support organizations in developing transformational change. He recently delivered the Saudi Arabian launch of a United Kingdom-based defense, space and security company, offering advisory services, systems testing, and research and development programs to the Kingdom. Previous engagements include a two-year Interim CEO role, five years supporting the transformation of an international maritime rescue organization, delivering strategies and change programs to create a sustainable service, and two years with a large consulting firm working across multiple sectors defense, banking, and healthcare. Before moving into consultancy, Simon served in the Royal Navy, specialising in information and media operations. He has a Master’s degree in Leadership and Change, a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, and is a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management. He also holds qualifications in project, program, safety, and risk management.

KEVIN MANLEY

SENIOR ADVISOR

Kevin has over 25 years of experience in project and engineering management, project controls, forensic planner and delay analysis, and cost and budget analysis on building and engineering projects in Australia, North Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. He worked for international contractors on large-scale building and civil engineering projects such as mixed-use developments, hospitals, airports, coal loading jetties, power plants, geo-thermal and hydro, and railways. Petrochemical projects include being Programme Manager, Engineering Manager, and Planning and Controls Manager. Kevin specializes in project management, construction planning and programming, cost/budget analysis, progress monitoring and reporting, forensic and delay analysis of projects, as well as claim preparation, negotiation, and defense. He is a specialist in Primavera Project Management Software (P3 and P6), as well as Microsoft planning software.

PATRICIA McCALL

SENIOR ADVISOR

Patricia holds a Bachelors' degree in Economics from the University of Virginia and a Masters' degree in International Affairs, from Columbia University. She was an analyst with Merrill Lynch and worked in market equity sales at ING Barings. Patricia spent four years as a macroeconomic and equity analyst at Banyan Fund Management, responsible for macroeconomic analysis of global emerging markets, technology sector analysis in Asia, and global political risk analysis. Patricia worked as a consultant to the UN Conference on Trade and Development, completing analysis of foreign direct investment and corporate social responsibility in conflict areas. Patricia recently was a consultant to the Chairman of the World Economic Forum's Arab Business Council, focusing on economic development and regional investment issues and for the World Bank Group's International Finance Corporation Private Enterprise Partnership - where she was responsible for project development in MENA for technical assistance projects focusing on regulatory reform and the business enabling environment.
